Another Cool Invention: Liquid Medicine Dispenser

A few days ago, Ben was diagnosed with an ear infection. So, it as off to the pharmacy to get some pink stuff. When we got home, we noticed that instead of giving us a suspension dropper to administer the medicine, the pharmacist gave us a spoon-style dispenser.

Spoons are good if your child is old enough to get their head around the fact that they need to swallow what’s coming out of the dispenser. But for babies, spoons just aren’t functional. We tried for a couple of days to make it work, but all Ben did was move his head around when the medicine came out, and we all made a big mess.
So, I sent my husband to the store to ask the pharmacist if we could get a suspension dropper. A few minutes later, he returned home with this:

The Munchkin Medicator Liquid Medicine Dispenser cost all of $2.99, and could very well be one of the most brilliant inventions for parents in a very long time.

Ben now takes his medicine with zero effort. When he’s done, we just take the container part off and let him use the rest as a “binkie.”

Way to go, Munchkin!! (And props to my husband for finding it!! Whoop Whoop!!)
