I Signed Up for Pay Per Post!

It seems like so long ago that I made the choice to take my site into the “get paid to blog” world. But in fact, it was only a few months ago.

I’d not known that I could get paid to write reviews until I saw the Pay Per Post widget on a blog that I’d been reading. I clicked on the link and found that there were people that were making anywhere from “coffee money” to “down payment money” by writing for Pay Per Post. And I wanted in.

Of course, I jumped the gun and submitted my blog before reading through the rules and soon found out that Pay Per Post had a 90-day active clause. Although I had started to blog last April, I stopped while on maternity leave and did not begin again until October. So, I had to wait 90 days until I could make some real dough with my novice writing.

My blog finally met the requirement yesterday–and this is my first official composition for the Pay Per Post blog network.

My husband thinks that I could make a real business out of this. After all, there is no overhead, no inventory, and no exorbitant expenses involved with putting my thoughts in writing. In the time it took me to write this post, I’ll have been paid $20 for 15 minutes of work. Not a bad take. Maybe my husband is right.

If I save every dime I make beginning today, I can do a number of things with the money at the end of the year. Take my family to Hawaii, put a down payment on a new car, or pay of some old debt. All for putting in my two cents. Finally, I’m getting paid to for something I love to do. How awesome is that?!
