It is Sooo ON!

I love clothes. I do. Even as a plus-size diva, I love to look at fashion rags and websites and watch as the new trends emerge.

The other day, I was playing my usual “look at the print ad and try to guess the designer” game while flipping through In Style, and I was completely stumped. The ad was very “editorial,” containing models with hip hair wearing clothes and accessories I guessed to be either Dior or Chloe.

But it was “ON.” Who is ON?

Old Navy!

I thought it couldn’t be. These clothes were right out of Hamptons Magazine. I could picture Heidi Klum wearing some of the outfits. But it was Old Navy–Home of the $29.50 and under specials.

The thing I love most about Old Navy is that they take care of size 14’s and up gals like me. The clothes are A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E, and affordable.

And don’t forget the accessories too. Talk about adorable!

So yeah, the tag may not read “Dior,” but the clothes are amazingly fashionable.

I am SOO going to go shopping now!!

  1. Good morning Fashion! I too have started shopping at ON. I love that I can order online, since the closest ON is a 25 minute drive and they are a smaller store with not much selection. It’s been a blessing and a curse being home bored waiting for my leg to heal. I find myself browsing the sephora website almost daily and ON 2-3 times a week.
The Brazilian wax is very brave. I can’t say I’ve ever tried it before. It is kinda scary to have a stranger down near my naughty bits with hot wax.

  2. I LOVE Old Navy! Very interesting to see them in a fashion magazine but I’m not too surprised. ON has great styles for everyone. I buy mine and my kids’ clothes there. These clothes are stylish, affordable & durable too. I swear, you can wash these clothes over and over and they will still look great.

  3. I love Old Navy! I was able to get a cute long-sleeved black shirt for work there. Now I almost feel cute in my uniform. Almost. lol

  4. Ohhh, I love ON, too. 😉 The cheap Gap, right? Sadly, we don’t have either over here in Calabria!

  5. I have not been in an Old Navy in a long time. Because they do not Carry Plus sizes in Canada. I was actually thinking of sueing them over it. But oh well its harder to do that here. I just want to get some nice things at good prices. I am a bit girl. I am down from a 24 but still wearing a 20 and hope be be into an 18 by the end of the year. Now if Old Navy would get its act together. I wrote to them but never got a reply.
